| Morgan State University's growing Department of Telecommunications wanted to create a production studio so their students would be able to have hands-on experience operating broadcast technology. With this equipment, Morgan State's Telecommunications faculty would be able to teach the basics of television production using the same modern technology used by major production studios. Space was an issue, so this studio needed to be as compact and portable as possible. | |

Mobile Studios provided Morgan State University with a complete studio solution. The PortaCast system combines Panasonic's powerful AV-HS400 switcher with Mobile Studios' CGenie Pro HD character generator. An audio mixer feeds into the Motu V4HD and combines with the program feed to export to disk. The 15" MacBook gives Morgan State's students the opportunity to practice their skills with post-production techniques in Final Cut Studio. |
