The PortaCast Streaming and Capture Cube combines the best elements of a webcasting module and a DVR into a unified, compact design.  Its small footprint allows the Streaming and Capture Cube to easily fit into existing systems, and the vented case and high-efficiency fans ensure smooth, quiet operation (<28db).  

The Cube will take composite or component video input, and using a powerful software suite can stream LIVE video in many popular formats (WMA, Flash, MPEG-4, Real, etc.) while simultaneously recording the audio and video to a high-speed scratch disk.  The Cube's quad-core power can also be utilized as an editing station (Adobe Premiere CS4 can be added as an option)

It utilizes a 10-pin cable and connector providing for additional control and strength. The remote control also has a Monitor Out for viewing as well as an SD Card Slot to save scene files.
